I want to see the variables of the instance and also on the flow nodes.
There is a frame for it in Operate instance view.
But on start and end node it says : “The Flow Node has no variables.”
On the unique service activity node, it says nothing, variables frame stays empty.
How can I see the variables values in Operate ?

Operate should display the variables for the scope when you click on the activity on the BPMN diagram.
Are you sure that the variables are created on the scope?
Please share an example.

I just succeed to see variables in the instance history frame !

I say succeed because an annoying css/display bug was hiding me the panel from the beginning of my tests on Operate !
The frame was folded and, in that state, the fold/unfold icons are not visible !
You have to pass the cursor slowly in the right bottom corner to see the cursor change and the tooltip to unfold ! It’s like an old point and click adventure game ! 
I don’t know where to submit an issue for Operate, but here it is:
Operate 0.23.0
Firefox 79.0 (64 bits) on Ubuntu
The panel seems always empty and static when folded because the unfold/fold icons are not visible.
Hovering in a little bottom right zone display a different cursor and the tool-tip to unfold.

this bug was introduced on 0.23 and it was fixed on 0.24, so if you can upgrade Operate this issue should gone.
