Josh Wulf: Yes, you can use YAML. Take a look at the broker source code to see the level of support that it has. It is not to the same level as XML, and there is not a lot of demand for it, so it doesn’t get the same level of love that BPMN does.
Nicolas: You can use YAML now as Josh mentioned, but its future is unclear. I would not recommend to build around other than for prototyping.
