Zeebe version 0.8.0 has been released just now.
In the last two months the Zeebe Team put a lot of effort on rewriting the broker core, the clustering and also the internal scheduling. This improved the resource utilization, made Zeebe more stable and quite faster.
The zbctl was also rewritten and moved to an own repository. The new implementation now supports external taskworkers, see the new quick start guide for more information https://docs.zeebe.io/introduction/quickstart.html.
